Caesars Windsor is a casino and hotel resort located on the waterfront in Windsor, Ontario, overlooking the Detroit skyline. Originally opened in 1994 as Casino Windsor, it is owned by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation but operated by Caesars Entertainment. The resort features two hotel towers, a convention center, and a 5,000-seat entertainment venue known as the Colosseum. While it draws millions of visitors annually from Canada and the United States, it has had to adapt to challenges such as increased border security, currency exchange fluctuations, and competition from neighboring Detroit casinos.
