Community rallying together to support family of teenager on fire at Wingham high school

A Huron County community is coming together to support a local family just days after emergency crews responded to a teenager on fire at a high school - as unanswered questions about the incident remain for many residents. Just after 8 a.m. Tuesday, first responders arrived to a person on fire at F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham, Ont. Police said they evacuated the school and extinguished the fire.

Making a big splash — World’s top divers gather in downtown Windsor

An international diving competition brings Olympic-level talent, and a big tourism boost, to downtown Windsor this week. This past weekend, the Honourable Senator Dr. Kristopher Wells, on behalf of the Honourable Marjorie Michel, Minister of Health, announced an investment of almost $600,000 to support the delivery of inclusive, culturally sensitive SRH services and resources to the communities across the country that need them. The announcement took place at the Positive Light Gala in Edmonton, AB, held in support of building a more inclusive and accepting society for all, including people living with HIV.
