About Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre

Built in 1855 by Alexander Mackenzie, Canada’s second Prime Minister, Mackenzie Hall is a historic limestone landmark constructed in the classic revival style. Originally serving as a courthouse and jail, the building now functions as a vibrant cultural centre for the City of Windsor. The facility offers unique rental spaces including a ballroom for private events, meeting facilities, art galleries, and a performing arts theatre. In addition to hosting special occasions, the Hall provides diverse community programming ranging from concerts and exhibitions to arts and culture workshops.
